Wilts & Dorset bus company provides new way to provide information on bus stops for smartphone users. The two most important lines m1 and m2 between Poole, Bournemouth, Castlepoint and Southbourne will have a credit card sized signage attached to each bus stop providing timetables through QR Code and NFC. Technology is provided by Track4Services.
Weymouth Kings Statue bus stops

Dorset County Council renewed the Weymouth Kings Statue bus stop signage to be ready for the Olympic sailing events. NFC and QR code in the signage is powered by Track4Services.

Poole 'Magic Bus Stops'

Track4Services is powering interactive bus information sign that enables all types of mobile users to access their local bus time information directly from their mobile phone. The first such project in the United Kingdom was launched in Poole, Dorset on 10th January 2011 just 5 working days after the technology became available.
